On 18 September, 56 colleagues braved water, mud and

mosquitoes to help NParks and PUB at our Forest Clean-Up and

Water Monitoring programme. Our volunteers spent Saturday

morning collecting water samples and uprooting weeds to ensure

that the eco-system at MacRitchie Reservoir remains in the balance.

Says first-time volunteer Wong Mai Yun from News, “besides the

sweaty hard work, it was fun to meet colleagues outside our familiar

circle. So yes, those mud stained shoes, lumpy itchy mosquito bites,

are all worth it.”
